Discover Snorkeling and Scuba:

Try snorkeling and scuba at the Shell Rock pool this summer.  Youth and adults may register. 

Saturday, July 26   9:00am - 11:00am

Snorkeling       ages 5 and older        $30.00

WEATHER RELATED POOL CLOSINGS

During good weather:

The Shell Rock Swimming Pool will be open

every day from

11:30am(Lap Swim) through 8:00pm

(Monday-Thursday until 9pm Aqua size).

Temperature:

The Pool will be closed if the air temperature is

70 degrees or less.

Rain:

The Pool will be closed during a heavy downpour or a constant rain.

Thunderstorms:

All swimmers have to leave the pool for 30 minutes, when thunder can be heard in the area.  The Pool will be closed when our area is under a tornado warning. 

If the weather prevents us from opening at the regular time but improves later during the day, we will try to re-open the pool at 12:30pm or 2:30pm or 4:30pm.  If in doubt, give us a call at 319-885-6400.
