The 2nd Annual Riverfest went on as planned, despite heavy rain throughout the weeks before. High river levels prevented the lazy float down the Shell Rock River and races were moved away from the dam. You'll see below that didn't stop everyone from enjoying all of the other activities Riverfest had to offer.
Kids' Fishing Contest, Casting your fishing pole for candy, Creating magnets at the River Art Project, Taking Canoe Rides, And Kayak Demonstrations in the morning hours. Over 75 tractors took a ride along the Shell Rock River.
Heating things up at the Chili Cook-off! Excitement at the Pie Eating Challenge! Visiting with friends and neighbors at the Fish Fry, And Friendly Competition in Canoe and Kayak Races. |
