Our First Annual Riverfest Kicked Off with:
40 entries in the Kids' Fishing Contest, Casting your fishing pole for candy, Painting fish at the River Art Project, Taking Canoe Rides, And Kayak Demonstrations in the morning hours. Early afternoon brought: Dedication of the Renning Landing, The Lazy River Trip back to Shell Rock, Heating things up at the Chili Cook-off, Taking the Pie Eating Challenge.
Evening Hours included: Visiting with friends and neighbors at the Fish Fry, And Friendly Competition in Canoe and Kayak Races. |
